My podcast series for this class is basically going to be a 'lifestyles' series aimed towards the students here at Texas Tech. I chose this topic because it is something that I care about and that I think other students here at Tech will take an interest in. There will episodes about restaurants, bars, live music, art, and sporting events that are located in Lubbock. This will give students the chance to find something locally to get interested in. I think there is the potential for this to be a common topic among other students in my class. However, I want to put my own touch on it and make it as unique as possible. The biggest challenge that I ran into when I did my first podcast was trying not to say 'um' or 'uh.' I never realized how many times I say that when I'm speaking. I'm nervous about putting video clips on the podcasts because I think it's going to require me to use a program that I am not very familiar with. Hopefully, Mr. Galvez will be in his office to help me out if I run into any difficulties.

This was very easy to listen to. There were some pauses mid-sentence and audible sounds where the pieces were edited together. Overall very well put together.
Nice, confident voice. Sounds conversational, good. Good topic and description of propose. Could clip end music a little, but good levels and sound. Good blog. You could set off important info in blog.
I liked that your blog was short and to the point. The podcast had a few pauses that I noticed but overall it was good. You might want to explain that we are in our fall semester at Tech so some of the events will be seasonal. Other than that, good job.
good point kristen with the seasonal thing. thanks~
Nice music, its different. I like that'll it'll touch the local music scene and food! Some video of shows and events will be great! I'm sure the artists wont mind the coverage too. Good job.
Local lifestyles is always something that people will be interested in. I like the flow of your speech patterns because they make for easy listening.
Some edits you made are a bit close together, they would sound smoother if you spread them out. Also, if you slowed down your voice, the pod cast would sound natural and less rushed. You picked a good series topic, as soon as you have some bands lined up to interview or other specific topics, you should post the information.
Good choice of topic. I liked how the intro music blended in with the introduction of yourself..very smooth. Your topic is different in that it is intended for everyone and not just college students. Great work overall.
Overall, this was a good podcast. Some parts were a little choppy, but your voice seemed pretty casual. I love the topic and music and food are sure to draw a huge college audience. Clean up the edits a little and it's great.
Overall, a very solid podcast. You had a good voice and steady tone. One area for improvement might be vocal pacing. It seemed a little rushed at times, but it's really just a minor issue to look at in the future.
